New to Euro School of Tennis?

Tennis classes and lessons for adults in Fremont, San Jose, Hayward, Castro Valley and Palo Alto

How Do I Get Started

Our New Student Special Offer at ONLY $39 a month for 4 group tennis clinics is the BEST and most COST EFFECTIVE way to get started. All group tennis classes are definitely not the same! This offer allows you to try us out for long enough time to experience the true joy of tennis. Taking just a single class is not sufficient to understand how much tennis has to offer you and your child.

Junior Tennis Clinics

Learning the basics of the game is the only way to move forward, and our junior tennis lessons are designed to do just that. First class instruction is part of everything we do and we work to keep fun at the forefront of the game. We keep an incredible Instructor to Student ratio of 1 to 6 (or less)

Tennis is for Everyone

At Euro School of Tennis we believe that tennis is for everyone. It’s simply a matter of finding the coach and right time that fit your busy schedule. In addition to offering engaging group tennis classes suitable for ages 4 and Up, beginners to intermediate, we offer Junior Tennis Camps and Private Tennis Lessons.

What should a student wear and bring to class?

  • Wear tennis shoes (no black soles), Hat/Cap & sports outfit (no jeans).
  • Bring a tennis racket & bottle of water to class.

What size tennis racket should I get for my child?

We generally recommend 2 methods when choosing rackets:
Based on age group

  • 19 inch racket for ages 3 and under
  • 21 inch racket for ages 3 to 4
  • 23 inch racket for ages 4 to 5
  • 25 inch racket for ages 6 to 7
  • 26 inch racket for ages 8 to 10

Another way to find-out the right size is if you have your child hold their arm outstretched and parallel to the ground.

Place a racket in his/her fingertips. The racket should barely touch the ground. Please note this is not precise method.

The right age for
children to begin
playing the sport
of tennis

Tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world today.

Just as there is no single racquet that is right for everyone, there is not one specific age to start playing tennis.

Each child should be evaluated individually on their motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and attention span.

I have taught children as young as 3.5 years of age who could hit various strokes for a half hour and be able hit the ball over
the net. …..

Counting down the

Tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world today.

Every kid while growing up, dreamed of becoming a sports personality, and being a tennis star in one of them.
